Sunday Swatch-O-Rama!

Before I buy literally any lip product I search for swatches online (bad things have happened when I didn’t!). Its vital to the purchase process; the color in the tube and on the sticker translates differently on the actual skin.

I love people who swatch out their collections because it helps me see how the colors I’m interested in look on the skin, and it also helps me find shades that I hadn’t previously seen.

Today’s “Sunday Swatch-O-Rama” consists of my lipstick collection (Note: Stains and glosses will be swatched at a later date, as well as eye products and cheek products)

For benchmark purposes my skin tone can be categorized as a NW15.

MAC:

From Left to Right these are: Saint Germain (Amplified Creme), Creme Cup (Cremesheen), Snob (Satin), Pink Nouveau (Satin), Lovelorn (Lustre), Angel (Frost), Bombshell (Frost) and Please Me (Matte). All retail for $14.50 at MAC.

Revlon Super Lustrous - 

Sky Pink (Matte), Pink Pout (Matte), Stormy Pink (Matte),  Primrose (Creme), Porcelain Pink (Pearl), Temptress (Creme), Love That Red (Creme), Fuchsia Fusion (Pearl), Berry Haute (Creme) and Violet Frenzy (Pearl). These retail between $5-$8 depending on where you buy them (Target being the cheapest I’ve seen, ULTA being moderate and Walgreens being the most expensive.)

Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks and Lip Butters:
